We combined the Q and K to represent Quincy Kid in a clean, modern way.

The star marks our place on the map while honoring the untold contributions Quincy people have made locally, nationally, and internationally. The Quincy Kids who came before us created a country, helped win wars, embodied the entrepreneurial spirit, and built the foundation of this city that put us on the map.

The anchor pays tribute to the Fore River Shipyard and also symbolizes the hold this city has on all of us — grounding us, connecting us, and reminding us of where we came from.
